HaiQi Gao （Leo）
Hailing from the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria, the birthplace of Versace, I earned my Master of Fine Arts in Visual communication design, where I nurtured my artistic vision and honed my technical skills. After graduation, I joined XPPen Europe, a leader in the digital drawing industry, as a Content Creator Manager. In this role, I managed social media accounts, established global contacts with influential figures in the art and drawing community, and forged partnerships with individuals and schools. Leading the advertising production team, I created innovative campaigns that not only showcased our products but also embodied our company's values.
Before my tenure at XPPen, I was a lighting technician at the Wuhan Shangxiu Performing Arts Company in China, gaining invaluable experience in professional lighting design and control software, such as WYSIWYG Layout Tools, GrandMA2, Depence R3, GrandMA 3D, and Vectorworks. My work involved crafting precise scene layouts and lighting simulations, programming and running complex lighting cues, and collaborating closely with directors, actors, and the stage crew to produce stunning and memorable performances.
My passion lies in blending creative and technical skills to create captivating and immersive experiences for audiences. I am eager to join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and diversity, where I can contribute to its success with my expertise and enthusiasm.
Furthermore, my skill set includes advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom, alongside Nikon full-frame DSLR photography and drone aerial photography, allowing me to capture impactful images and footage from unique perspectives. Skilled in on-site floor plan sketching, I excel in spatial planning and visualization, ensuring a seamless translation of concepts into reality. My experience with GrandMA2, Depence R3, and Vectorworks equips me to handle complex lighting designs and stage preparations with precision and creativity.
